We produced a short 90-second video using stop- frame animation, reimagining personal data being stored digitally as physical parcels moving through a factory. The level of security BP champions data privacy is conveyed through stop-motion employees who guide the parcels with meticulous care, observing access control and data purpose limitations.
The film we produced was to be used at marketing events and as part of an e-learning module on privacy. It should not have a comms message but a learning angle. We wanted the films to be fun and engaging and to use humour to bring to life rules which are often overlooked or come across as boring and dull, by BP employees.
