The MPS needed a film to train recruits in techniques of safe restraint. The film had two requirements: to show the recruits what to do as well as showing the training that the recruits received. This was because part of the wider audience for the film was third party pressure groups and other stakeholders.
The film was constructed of interviews with medical professionals, mental health service users and police trainers.
The film won Gold for Best Training at the IVCA awards.
