Oxford University Press needed to position themselves as a publisher involved not just in academic and research texts, but as a modern, innovative organisation embracing new technologies, new methods and new ways of connecting with readers, children and language learners across the globe.
Pukka Films was delighted to accept the challenge! We embarked on a long shoot period of five weeks, travelling to 5 countries in 3 continents to capture the incredible sights, sounds and stories of the disparate markets OUP operates in across its three main business divisions. Our approach with the Brand Film was to tell Oxford University Press’ story through focussing on how the organisation has a real impact on people’s lives - be they teachers, children, students, researchers, authors, or OUP employees. We think the personal, intimate tone and direct address to audiences speaks for itself!
